Black and white illustration of a scene from 'Little Red Riding Hood' where a young girl in a white dress and hat, holding a basket, questions a wolf in a forest. The printed text at the bottom of the front repeats the scene with dialogues: 'And, politely greeting, !Said to the girl: — For whom, my dear child, Is this cake?'. The reverse is an advertising postcard for the CRUCER house in Lorient, mentioning 'Excerpt from the Journal of the National Agricultural, Manufacturing and Commercial Academy of Paris, October 1878' and products such as 'Ten Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals'.
