Panoramic view of the observatory on the Pic du Midi de Bigorre, with its characteristic dome and two large metal antennas on a rocky promontory, among snow-capped mountains. The reverse has a handwritten address to Madame and Monsieur Tournier in Colombes (Seine), a 1 franc postage stamp, and a cancellation from Lourdes dated 11 V 45.17.29.
