Black and white view of a stone bridge crossing a turbulent river, with a solitary house and snow-capped mountains in the background. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated August 9, 1957, sent from Gap to L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, mentioning a family stay in the Alps and an upcoming trip to Aix-en-Provence. 15-centime postage stamp and postmark from the Hautes-Alpes postal office.
