Black and white view of the Roman aqueduct of Pont du Gard, with its three levels of arches and a watercourse below. The reverse indicates that it is a Roman aqueduct 269 meters long and 48 meters high, built before the Christian era on the order of Agrippa to bring water from the area of Uzès to Nîmes. The publisher is mentioned as 'Éditions des Frères Lumière, Lyon'.
