View of the Pont du Gard, a 41 km Roman aqueduct built in 19 BCE to carry water from the Eure to Nîmes, with 6 arches in the first row, 11 in the second and 35 in the third. The back indicates the publisher E. Mond' Rel. and mentions its destruction by the Visigoths in 418 and the addition of a side in 1743.
