Night view of the port of Croix-de-Vie under a starry sky, with several sailing ships in the foreground, one of which bears the inscription 'STILLES'. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence addressed to Mrs. Pierre Carniol in Chidet, with a 5-centime postmark and a Nantes cancellation dated 24 September 1907.
