View of the descent to the beach in Le Portel, with beach huts, promenaders, and a boat on the sand. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Chevance-Jules in Pantouillet, with a 15-centime postmark and a cancellation stamp from Saint-Étienne (June 1903).
