Description

View of the Rock of Saint-Michel d'Aiguilhe in Le Puy, a huge volcanic dyke 95m high, crowned with a Romanesque chapel from the 10th century accessible by 280 spiral steps. The reverse indicates the publisher Margerit-Bremond, a handwritten address to M. Bruyère and his family in Saint-Étienne, and a green 5-centime stamp canceled in Aiguilhe.
