Description

Colossal statue of Notre-Dame de France, erected in 1860 on Rocher Corneille 132 meters above the city, with a casting of 213 cannons taken from Sebastopol. Printed text at the bottom of the front. Back: handwritten address to Madame Pleury in Le Mans, 0.10 franc postage stamp, postmark from Le Puy (Haute-Loire) dated 22 August 1913, and note 'Collection MARCHAND, collector of postcards from Le Velay, Le Puy'.
