Description

Black and white aerial view of Le Puy, taken from Mont Ronzon, showing the city extending gently towards a rocky promontory dominating the scene. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated July 17, 1917, addressed to M. B. Gauthier at Rues des Abîmes, Larvèze, with a 15-centime postage stamp and a cancellation from Firminy (Loire).
