Black and white view of the Tarn gorge at Ayssènes, with rocky cliffs and a stream. Printed text at the top: 'LE TRUEL - Gorge of the Tarn at Ayssènes'. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 1st July 1912, addressed to 'Chez Mme Château de Sandt (Aveyron)', describing the landscapes and local activities. French postage stamp of 10 centimes, cancelled at 'HE' on 27 December 1912.
