View of the ruins of the church of Nouvron after the war, with printed text at the top recalling the French reconquest in 1917. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 14-10-12, addressed to a 'little woman' in Paris, mentioning a day of wind and rain, and expressing the hope that the United States will soon be alongside the French.
