Description

Monochrome red illustration of the view of Carcassonne, reproduced at 1/1500 scale from the painting by N. Salières, displayed at the 1900 Paris World's Fair and the 1906 Marseille Exhibition. Printed text lists the specialties of the Micheline Distillery: La Micheline, La Princesse des Chartreux, L'Or-Kina Sabatier, and Les Grands Mousseux. Reverse: handwritten address to Mme Leonie Mound at the Hôtel du Commerce in Minervois (Aude), with note 'POSTCARD TO BE USED ONLY WITHIN THE DOMESTIC SERVICE (France, Algeria, Tunisia)' and postmark.
