Description

Humorous postcard illustrating an exalted soldier holding a bottle of pinard, with the text « The pinard is my God !! » and « after us the end of the world ». The drawing is signed « J.R. Vodrecil ». At the bottom, the title « THE 10 COMMANDMENTS OF THE SOLDIER » and the first commandment: « 1 - One God you shall worship By faithfully absorbing it ! ». Reverse: handwritten correspondence dated 20-12-1918, addressed to « Dear Parents, Brothers & Sisters », mentioning a military summons and a leave to Ramon. Postmark and cancellation not visible.
