Description

Humorous postcard illustrating the eighth commandment of the soldier: 'Lie or falsehoods you shall not make for the iron and its torments!', with a caricature of a soldier sitting in a cell. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence dated February 10, 1924, sent to a recipient in Vichy, with an address for Mr. P. and a note on the postcard as 'Watch Out!'.
