Description

Black and white panoramic view of the snow-covered La Meije massif (3987 m), overlooking an alpine village with an old Roman bell tower in the foreground. The back has a handwritten inscription 'Je vous saurais gré de la faire' and an address to Montbridey, with a 20-centime French stamp and two postmarks from Grenoble dated 23 November 1920.
