Engraved illustration of Castle Gaillard at Les Andelys, with mention of its construction by Richard the Lionheart in 1195 and its ruins overlooking the Seine. Reverse: handwritten text addressed to Monsieur and Madame Sonder in Trégastel, 50-centime postmark, postmark from Nantes dated 27 May 1938, and mention of the Gaby editions.
