Description

View of the Hôtel des Mainvilles in Les Baux-du-Rhône, built in 1571 by Claude II, captain and military governor of the fortress of Baux. Protestants found refuge there during the religious wars. Reverse: blank postcard with partially faded stamp and cancellation, and the number 49 handwritten in the top right corner.
