Description

View of an old stone building at Place des Baux, with an inscription indicating it was built in 1571 by Claude II, Captain Viguier, military governor. Protestants found refuge there during the religious wars. Two people are visible on the sidewalk. The reverse is blank, with a publisher's mark and lines of correspondence/address.
