View of a stone house with a slate roof and shutters, surrounded by vineyards and vegetation, in Les Charmettes near Chambéry. Handwritten text on the front addresses a letter to 'Chérie Suzanne' after a trip. Back: address to 'Mademoiselle Suzanne Lignon, Campagne La Rose, Marseille', red 20-centime stamp and postmark from Chambéry dated 14 May 1908.
