Black and white view of the Gorges of the Chapelue and the Guil, with a stream in the background and a path bordered by rocks. Printed text at the top: 'THE ALPS 788. - The Gorges of the Chapelue and the Guil'. A 25-centime green stamp with cancellation 'EYRAS'. On the reverse, handwritten address to Madame Davrie in Ventenac-d'Aude (Aude), with postmark 'VENTENAC D'AUBE' and note 'All foreign countries do not accept correspondence on the front side'.
