Description

View of a stone viaduct with multiple arches crossing a rocky torrent in the Loup Gorges, with trees along the banks. The reverse side features a handwritten letter dated July 25, 1918, addressed to 'My dear' in Nice, with dense cursive handwriting and marginal annotations. A postmark is visible in the lower right corner, with partial cancellation visible.
