Description

Black and white view of the GRANDS GOULETS, with a road overlooking the Gorges de la Verpaizon, surrounded by steep cliffs and dense vegetation. On the reverse, a handwritten inscription refers to the region as 'very picturesque'. The postcard is addressed to Madame Soulerat in Paris, with a 20-centime postmark dated 29 July 1934, and bears the publisher Héliogravure Martinotto Frères.
