Postcard showing a lake with reeds and a small wooded island, with mountains in the background. The printed text at the bottom of the front says 'High Grasses'. On the back, a handwritten address sends the card to 'My little cousin Minie' and mentions 'Good souvenir Mr. Vaute'. The publisher is Brunner & Co., Como, and the serial number is 3429. A French postage stamp of 16 centimes is affixed in the upper right corner, canceled.
