Description

View of Biron Castle, composed of buildings from the 11th and 16th centuries, several of which were demolished during the Revolution. It overlooks the Gavaudun valley, at the confluence of the Dordogne and Lot rivers. The reverse features handwritten correspondence addressed to Madame Ramelli in Paris, with a 25-centime French postage stamp.
