Interior scene showing an elderly bearded man sitting on a carved wooden bed, looking upward where two young girls observe from a gallery. The printed text at the bottom says: 'Rappel à l'ordre. — Eh ! là haut, vous n'allez pas un peu rester tranquilles ?...'. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence in cursive script addressed to 'Mme André' in Tunis mentions a family and a 'disposition' to Turkey.
