View of the Gavarnie Chaos in the Pyrenees, with a horse-drawn cart crossing a path between massive rocks. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence dated May 30, 1909, sent from Biarritz to Ashburton (Devon), with a 10-centime French postage stamp and a Biarritz postmark.
