Description

Black and white aerial view of the Pic du Midi Observatory and the Orientation Table, located at an altitude of 2877 meters, with buildings and a telescope dome amidst a snowy mountain landscape. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence dated 16-8-1920 addressed to Emilienne in Toulouse, with a 15-centime French postage stamp and a delivery stamp from Sainte-Marie-de-Ré (1725).
