Aerial view of the lively beach with swimmers and umbrellas, bordered by the casino and coastal buildings. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 1970 addressed to 'Dear Father and Dear Mother' from Les Sables-d'Olonne, mentioning holidays and movie theaters. A 40-centime French Republic stamp, cancellation 'CÔTE de LUMIÈRE' and 'LES SABLES-D'OLONNE 1970'.
