Woman in a fisherman's costume sitting on a beach bench, surrounded by fishing nets, at Les Sables-d'Olonne. Printed text at the bottom: 'LES SABLES d'OLONNE — Racommodeuse de Filets'. Reverse: handwritten address to M. Léon Pelletan, Agen, with a 25-cent French postage stamp and a cancellation mark from La Rochelle, dated July 27, 1927.
