Description

Postcard showing the ruins of the Rosemont Castle in the Southern Vosges, destroyed in 1634 during the Swedish invasion in the Peasants' War of the 16th century. The reverse features handwritten correspondence addressed to Madame and Monsieur Le Perreux in Sèvres, with a note on the front prohibiting correspondence for foreign countries.
