Description

Black and white view of a pine forest in the Vosges, with rays of sunlight filtering between the trunks. Printed text at the bottom: 'LES VOSGES PITTORESQUES — FORÊT DE SAPINS'. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated September 23, addressed to Simone, mentioning a departure for Tavanes, a collection of cards from the region, and affection for the Vosges. Red 'EXPOSITION INTERNATIONALE' postmark affixed at the bottom right.
