Black and white view of a steep canyon with a winding road in the background, flanked by rocky cliffs and dense vegetation. Printed text at the top: '523 - L'ESCARÈNE The Road of la Grave de Peille'. On the reverse, a handwritten note dated December 7, 1920, addressed to 'Monsieur de Peille', describing the 'superb landscapes' and 'limestone cliffs' of the road. Stamp and postmark not visible.
