Description

Black and white view of the confluence of the Isle and the Dordogne in Libourne, with several sailboats moored and a man standing on the bank. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated Monday, December 28, 1942, addressed to a 'dear grandmother,' mentioning purchases of cheese and walnuts, and signed by Philippe. The publisher is Bloc Frères, Publishers, Bordeaux.
