View of Limoges City Hall, an imposing neo-Renaissance building with a central tower adorned with a clock face. Printed text at the top: '9. LIMOGES — The City Hall'. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence dated July 22, 1916, addressed to M. de Huitières in Pecilly-sur-Seine, with an affectionate message and a mention of Paris. A green 15-centime stamp and a cancellation mark 'LIMOGES 15-7-20' visible at the top right.
