Postcard showing Place Carnot in Limoges with a statue of Carnot in the center and a house at the bottom of the image, indicating that it is the house where he was born. The reverse has a handwritten address to Madame Louise Raveneau in Châlais (Yonne) and a green 10-centime postmark canceled in Saint-Leonard-d'Agut on August 12, 1913, with a post office stamp from Châlais.
