View of the lake in the Botanical Garden of Lisbon, with a metal bridge crossing the water and several people in period costume. The reverse has a handwritten letter dated June 25, 1906, addressed to Madame Delauney in Paris, with a Portuguese 20 réis stamp and a visible 'QUARDA' postmark at the top left.
