Richly decorated interior of the former episcopal palace in Lisieux, highlighting a monumental sculpted fireplace and an ornate coffered ceiling. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to Mr. and Mrs. G. Giotès in Charleroi, Belgium, with a 90-centime French Republic postage stamp canceled.
