Description

View of the façade of the Carmel Abbey in Lisieux, with its monumental portal framed by columns and topped by a triangular pediment with a cross. On the reverse, a handwritten inscription addresses the card to 'Mr. and Mrs. Bouchet and their daughter' in Le Souich (Somme), with a French 8-centime postage stamp and a postmark from Lisieux dated August 25, 1949. The publisher is 'La Cigogne', located in Lisieux.
