White marble statue depicting the Child Jesus, dressed in a simple robe, asking her father, an elderly man in a suit, for permission to enter the Carmel at 15 years old. The base bears the inscription: 'Thérèse asks her Father for permission to enter the Carmel at 15 years old'. On the reverse, a description in French and English, as well as a French postmark canceled.
