Black and white view of the medieval keep of Loches, with its round stone towers and ruined walls. Printed text at the bottom: '8 — LOCHES (Indre-et-Loire). Keep (11th and 12th centuries). ND Phot.'. Reverse: handwritten correspondence to Monsieur Guibert in Montreuil-sur-Loire, with a red 'INDRE-ET-LOIRE' postmark and a cancellation stamp 'TOURS' dated 7 July 1914.
