Lively view of Ludgate Hill in London, showing an ornate bridge above a busy street filled with pedestrians and vehicles of the era, with to the left the building 'The King Pub' and in the background the dome of St Paul's Cathedral. The reverse features a handwritten French correspondence addressed to Monsieur J. Fourquemin in Paris, dated from Cambridge, with a postmark from 1907.
