Description

View of the lively street in London, with carriages and a tramway, in front of the imposing building of Mansion House. The printed text indicates that Mansion House is the official residence of the Lord Mayor, built in 1730-32, and that Cheapside extends to Saint-Paul Cathedral. On the reverse, a handwritten correspondence in French is addressed to Mr. E. Bast in Paris, France, with a 1d stamp for domestic use.
