Description

View of the river Thames quay in London, with a moving steamboat and an obelisk (Cléopâtre's Needle) in the background. The reverse indicates that the area extends from Westminster Bridge to Blackfriars Bridge, and mentions that the obelisk, 68 feet tall and weighing 180 tonnes, comes from Egypt. The handwritten address is intended for Mademoiselle M. Cheffe in Providence, Olviet.
