Description

View of the Guildhall in London, a Gothic building with a tall spire and pointed-arch windows, in front of which stand two people and a man on horseback. On the reverse, handwritten French text addresses the postcard to 'Monsieur Louis Jeanney' in Vendôme, France, with a note about the official visit of the Lord Mayor to London. Red 1 penny British postage stamp, partial cancellation visible.
