View of London's Monument, a monumental column with ornate capital and flag at the top, surrounded by urban buildings. Printed text in red at the bottom: 'The Monument. London.' and 'London.' at the top right. Reverse: handwritten address in London dated May 15, 1902, recipient A. Vaguenes-Vernin, note 'POSTAGE 1d. Stamp for Ireland' and instruction 'THE ADDRESS ONLY TO BE WRITTEN ON THIS SIDE'.
