Postcard showing the entrance to the Lamy Quarter in Longuyon, with several soldiers in uniform posing in front of an iron gate flanked by stone pillars. The back contains a handwritten letter dated 28 July 1917, sent by Charles Léon, a soldier of the Éngiés 6, to his husband Édouard Copain, mentioning his arrival in Longuyon and his assignment to the 149th R.I. The stamp and cancellation are visible.
