A laurel crown and a star adorn the center, with tricolor ribbons. On the reverse, a green 9 centime stamp, a handwritten address to Madame Louise Barthotel in Marseille, and a dispatch postmark from the Hôtel de Lourres in Rome. A violet circular postmark 'F.° VISITA IN ROMA' is visible at the bottom center.
