Historical illustration showing Louis XIV blessing the young Duke of Anjou, who was less than six years old, with printed text: « The King ordered that the young Duke of Anjou be brought to him, who had not yet turned six, and said to him: My dear child, you will soon be King of a great kingdom ». On the reverse, handwritten correspondence to Madame Poullain in Marrommes, with a 10-centime green postmark and cancellation « REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE ».
