Engraved portrait of young Louis XVII, the second son of Louis XVI, with historical text describing his childhood, his imprisonment at the Temple, and the circumstances of his death in 1795. The reverse indicates the publisher and the typical lines of correspondence found on a postcard. The serial number '38' is visible at the bottom left.
